The Power of U, Inc. and our service-delivery arm, Uplift NC, are always looking for mission-driven people who want their work to matter close to home. Our staff deliver Child First, Substance Abuse Prevention, and Juvenile Justice Partnership services to families across 19 counties in Eastern North Carolina — meeting people where they live, not asking them to come to us.

You’ll join a small, community-rooted team where the work is direct and the impact is visible: home visits with new parents, prevention work with teens, partnership work that keeps young people out of the juvenile justice system. We operate out of three offices — Elizabeth City, Greenville, and Windsor — so you’re working in the communities you serve.
