Juvenile Justice Intensive In-Home Transition (JJIIT)
Intensive, family-centered care for justice-involved and at-risk youth
The Juvenile Justice Intensive In-Home Transition (JJIIT) Program, operated jointly by The Power of U, Inc. and Uplift Comprehensive Services, provides intensive, family-centered mental health services to juvenile justice-involved and at-risk youth ages 7–17 across 19 counties in Eastern North Carolina. Services are delivered in the home, school, and community.
What This Service Does
- Delivers trauma-informed clinical care where youth and families live, learn, and connect
- Builds practical skills and strengthens family stability
- Coordinates support with families, schools, providers, and juvenile justice partners
- Helps youth transition toward treatment, positive relationships, and community supports
- Includes CIRCLE, a 16-week restorative peer-group program grounded in the lived experience of the region’s Black and Native American communities

Juvenile justice-involved and at-risk youth ages 7–17 and their families across 19 counties in Eastern North Carolina.
